Middlesex were dismissed for 133 yesterday and were lucky to get that! Having been 61/2, James Tredwell with the best one day figures I can recall seeing of 6/27 meant that the solid start fell to 68/8. Given limited battery life I concentrated on Philip Hughes for my action shots, and I have put a few on here. He made 23 before hitting a ball straight up in the air off Tredwell, which started the collapse in full flow…

A cut off Azhar Mahmood as I wait by the sightscreen for the over to end!

Azhar Mahmood bowling – this ball actually dismissed the Middlesex opener, Godleman, caught behind.
Hughes hits the ball over the top – someone who looks like Rob Key wearing someone else’s jersey watches the ball…

Attempting a dab…Hughes facing…

Another attempted dab through third man, one of Hughes’s favourite shots.

Hughes tries to turn a ball to leg…
Hughes walks off, the battery went on red, so I had just a few pictures to take before the camera ran out…
I was also keen to see Joe Denly who I’d like England to think about. He didn’t do a great deal, and I only have him in batting pose..

Pretty foliage and Former England Keeper. Love how I’ve got the ball in this shot…
Darren Stevens on the drive… the end is nigh….the winning runs are hit…
All shake hands, Kent win…
And finally, a couple of Surrey Rejects by the boundary…

Tim Murtagh. Surrey could certainly do with him at the moment…

Azhar Mahmood.
Finally, for what will be my only visit to Southgate this season, a picture of the ground…
