They’re talking it up BIG. Let’s hope they come crashing back down FAST!! IF Haddin and Clarke are still there at lunch, we could be in trouble.

Reg – It will be historic – our first win there against “the old enemy” since 1934 – that’s nearly as long as they’ve been a country. All over before lunch…………….

SP - you said that in Adelaide or something similar. We could win it by lunch, the could win it before tea…

AT 11:06 – Haddin   Caught Collingwood   Bowled Flintoff

SP - as I said before Cardiff this series will be determined on how well the tail bats…ave it!!!!!!!!!!!

AE – rumour from my mate in the australian dressing room, they’ve cancelled the drinks break, it won’t go that far. Amazing, how one wicket changes a mood. haha!!

DO – You leave for a few minutes for a visit to “the office” and we take a wicket….Did you know [AE] knew their reserve keeper? He’s never told me….:-)

SP – go and have another visit or two!

AE – haven’t i mentioned it. I know his brother a lot better than mine. Clarke calls for the 12th man, timewasting already!!

DO – I think cricinfo is about two balls behind the TV….So I suppose any wicket I’ll hear from you lot first.

AE – johnson’s not got a clue what line to play, just knock his stumps over!!!

DO – Not heard on cricinfo yet. Just had an e-mail ready to send saying “any seeds of doubt..”

SP – bowled Swann – just began to fret but as they don’t have Monty, we should be ok now…

At 12:10 – DO – Not so fast… These two can both hold a bat, and once it gets below 100…..

DO – As if on cue….Siddle showed in the first innings that he’s no mug. If he sticks around with Johnson…well, squeaky bum time.

AE – one more for Freddy to get his name on the bowling board in his last test there. COME ON SUPER FRED!!

Reg – Rumours kicking around yesterday that it could be his last test full stop…………

DO - This bloke has obviously never watched a test match in Australia… from BBC Online…

At Lord’s, Ponting has been at the centre of plenty of unfortunate incidents, which have provided perfect opportunities for the sell-out crowds to goad him.

It is a cowardly sport for England fans – they know that by baiting him they can possibly undermine his batting, and there’s no danger for them in trying it on.

Cowardly sport? Jesus. I remember my first day in Brisbane where one bloke just screamed abuse at Matthew Hoggard all day with the traditional wide range of vocabulary associated with the native cricket fan in that country.

SP – I seem to recall some abuse from Shane Warne on the pitch as well..and as for what Thommo said to Sir Colin Cowdrey…

DO – Number Three in a great test career. (referring to Flintoff’s five wicket hauls for England)

SP – come on – cut him some slack ; )

DO – Hilfenhaus could keep Johnson company for a ton – then anything could happen.
